Project C22
The TH laboratory is developing its first product, for now with the provisional name C22.
An artificial intelligence system that allows us to measure the positive impact of coaching.
Maybe you have already heard of coaching or have received it, or you are a coach. It is a methodology considered the most effective for managing change and, in general, for people development, both in private and professional spheres.
It is widely used in organizations, but not as much as it could be and not as much as it should be, because despite its recognized value, it is difficult to measure its positive impact and therefore difficult to determine the ROI (Return On Investment).
How does artificial intelligence enter the coaching process?
Certainly not by replacing the coach with a machine, which is not possible... not yet anyway. Every now and then someone talks about it, due to an exaggerated trust in the abilities of machines, or an underestimation of human qualities.
When a coach enters a session, they bring with them the professional skills that allow them to explore goals and strategies, but it is the qualities of empathy, listening skills, intuition, and creativity that make the conversation a unique experience. A journey that touches the values and purposes of the recipient, bringing to light what is relevant. A machine cannot do this.
And the result of all this is somehow intangible and difficult to measure, except over time through feedback and assessment.
Our C22, thanks to a data-driven approach and a study of natural language (NLP), allows the coach to verify how much their intervention is actually going in the direction desired by the client, how the process is progressing, thus ensuring another level of constant effectiveness. But not only that, the coach becomes aware of their own personal biases, if and how their worldview is influencing the process to the detriment of a possible result.
The reading of data, without subjective interpretation, the learning and precise recognition of what is actually happening, a machine does it better than we do.
C22 creates a true collaboration between machine and person, in which each part does what it knows how to do best to achieve a completeness that finally allows us to measure what we have always thought impossible to measure.
